| Function | The Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications is both a hands-on operator, content producer and a strategic driver, responsible for the Boulder Chamber's brand voice, marketing execution, and event and membership growth. Boulder Chamber is entering one of its highest-visibility moments in decades — from the 2027 Sundance Film Festival activation to Boulder Together's multi-year community initiatives — and this role needs to move with urgency on deadline-driven work while thinking strategically about how every campaign, publication, and event builds the Boulder Chamber's brand over time. Currently, there are no internal direct reports; this position manages the Boulder Chamber's marketing partners — including our outsourced marketing automation, social media, and web/technical support providers — along with other contractors, freelancers, and deliverables, and requires operational ownership of the marketing department along with a fundamental understanding of its finances, aligning timelines via project management tools. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and meets weekly with the Leadership Team for strategic guidance and accountability for marketing deliverables and deadlines. |
