FunctionAssist and support the Marketing Team and other functional departments of the Boulder Chamber in executing marketing strategy.  
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Communication Plans:
  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans and priorities for diverse audiences.
  • Act as a key staff member in ensuring effective communication strategies are in place.
Graphic Design:
  • Design graphics for both digital and print materials.
  • Ensure brand awareness and consistency across all print, graphic design, and media platforms.
Content Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with departments to create and update content for various marketing campaigns across multiple channels such as newsletters, e-blasts, website(s), video, and more.
  • Conduct research, interviews, and collaborate to prepare content for use in multiple marketing initiatives.
Social Media and Video Management:
  • Develop engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day needs of social media channels and the Boulder Chamber’s presence by creating captivating copy, visual assets, and scheduling posts.
  • Engage with the audience and analyze media metrics to optimize and improve performance using various tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and benchmark practices.
  • Edit and enhance photos and videos to ensure high quality and consistency across channels.
Marketing Campaigns:
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Create and edit recorded videos for various postings, including YouTube and other platforms.
  • Collect and interpret data to tell meaningful stories.
Communications Management:
  • Manage the flow of Boulder Chamber activity content for by developing templates and ensuring timely delivery of public communications using our CRM and learning the system.
  • Build, edit, and launch appropriate emails, newsletters, flyers, social media updates, and campaigns.
Team Communication Support:
  • Support other team embers’ communication requests related to their work with written content support, graphic design or what is needed for communication needed for events or programs and promotion.
  • Develop visualizations to represent data or concepts.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop creative concepts as well as written content, video and graphic layout.
  • Execute projects from start to finish, ensuring high quality and consistency.
Marketing Collateral Management:
  • Maintain and organize marketing collateral, including digital assets, product information, and promotional materials.
  • Assist with ordering marketing materials, including signage, promotional items, and give-away items.
Logistical Support:
  • Handle logistical tasks such as picking up orders and ensuring availability of necessary marketing materials meeting timelines.
Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, Growth Zone a plus.
  • Developing visualization for data representation.
Education and experience requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • Combination of related education and relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned that is equal to six (6) years.
ExperiencePORTFOLIO SUBMISSION:

  • Direct experience in: communication, marketing, or public relations.
  • Strong Proficiency in social media platforms and familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, eClincher).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

Writing – Generate original content and edit content from subject matter experts with strong grammar and writing skills that evidence excellent attention to detail.
Graphic Design – Create and use graphics, typography, graphics and images for websites or print.
Campaign Management – Create, plan, manage and execute multiple large campaigns. Handle budgeting, vendor management, and result evaluation.
Data Collection and Interpretation – Collect, interpret and convey meaningful stories using data.

Public Relations – Knowledge of strategic communications approaches. Maintain and cultivate the organization’s public image, story, and intent using multiple marketing approaches.

Interpersonal Skills – Interact well with others. Support organizational priorities that support our values.

Working ConditionsPosition requires flexibility to work occasional early morning and evening hours for meetings and events. This is a hybrid role and will require some in office and work from home.
Typical Physical DemandsOperate normal business office equipment. Must be able to travel efficiently to off-site meeting locations throughout the Boulder area.
Compensation$55k-$60k annually – Salaried position that is dependent on experience.
